Behind SupaPresence are two founders who bring technology and hospitality practice together — because neither is enough on its own.

Our belief

Good restaurants, good food and good service should also be visible. That sounds obvious, but it is not. We have seen first-hand how great local venues had to close, even though the product was excellent. External perception was often a decisive contributing factor.

Today, guest losses often occur not because of poor service, but because of miscommunication, wrong expectations and missing feedback. An unanswered complaint, an incomplete profile, a missed opportunity to clarify — these cause damage quickly that is nearly impossible to undo.

With today's technology, this can change: respond faster, more personally and more precisely, detect problems early, leverage opportunities. That is the core of what we built with SupaPresence — and what drives us every day.

We come from the software industry. But growth through visibility, a great customer journey and steady guest volume are not nice-to-haves in hospitality either — they are must-haves. We want to give something back to the industry that has given us most of our best and most delicious moments.

Dan brings over a decade of experience in growth strategy and product development. He knows the daily reality of restaurateurs first-hand and understands that the best technology is worthless if it is too complex in practice. At SupaPresence he is responsible for strategy, partnerships and direct feedback from the field.

Michael actively researches and develops in the field of Artificial Intelligence, including at ETH Zurich. He builds the technical foundation of SupaPresence: language models that do not just respond correctly, but truly understand and reflect the tone and personality of a venue.

How SupaPresence came to be

The starting point was a simple observation: restaurants with actively maintained Google profiles measurably attract more guests. Not because of better cooking or lower prices, but because they appear visible and appealing before the first guest even opens the door.

At the same time, reality in most venues is different. Between prep, service and closing up, there is barely time to respond to every review individually and thoughtfully. The result: either no responses at all, or generic filler text that does more harm than good.
